Stain Remover and Polishing Kit

Many of the most beautiful natural stones used for countertops and floors are easily stained. Travertine, marble, limestone, slate, flagstone, saltillo tile and granite can stain when any acidic liquid spills on them. Even a weak citric acid like wine or orange juice can quickly soak into the stone and create a stain that is hard to remove.

A good penetrating sealer (or topcoat sealer where appropriate) will minimize damage, but sealers wear over time, and their ability to protect stone becomes compromised.

Over the years, we have dealt with hundreds of stained natural-stone floors. Our owner, Tom Baker, tried all the commercial abrasives and cleaners he could find. He was not satisfied, so he set up a lab and began experimenting with polishing materials and processes. He mixed his own abrasive formulas and tested until he was satisfied with the results.

Now, we are offering stain remover and polishing kits to our customers. These kits are recommended only for small areas. An isolated countertop stain that's a few inches in diameter is a great candidate for treatment with this product. For large stains or cleaning and polishing floors, it is best to hire professionals.

In addition to the abrasive solution and sealer, each kit includes tools and pads for applying the product and polishing the surface. Kits also include instructions for polishing away stains and applying sealer to protect the stone. We plan to have an online store for the kits soon, but for now, please call us at 480-491-7639 for information and to order a kit.
